Ireland AM
I was on Ireland AM on TV3 yesterday. It was a last-minute thing so I didn’t get a chance to tell anyone. The topic of discussion was older women and pregnancy, given that a 66-year-old woman is set to become Britain’s oldest mother. But mostly we talked about infertility and I was pleased to find a sympathetic, understanding approach in presenter, Sinead Desmond.
Baby is fine. Good scan today. I won’t use the word “relax” just yet, as it is impossible to do so with two kids, work, morning sickness and total exhaustion but those same things mean that life is good and the outlook is optimistic.

Great to hear continued good news on the scans.
Nice one, you’re a TV3 regular! I can’t get the clip to get past Dr. Walsh’s bit at the start mind, hopefully later.

Was just thinking of you today so delighted to hear all is well. Glad too to hear you were talking about infertility and not that 40 is too old to have a child!!!
I’m sure you’re knackered but at least it’s a good sign.

osulln04 – yes, of course I remember you! That is amazing news!!! I’m so glad you didn’t give up. And twins!!! That is just the best news!
Lorna – they introduced me as someone who had had a child at 38 but I think they were clutching at straws! Anyway, I said that it had been no different at 38 than at 33.
Artblog – 10w3d today.
Xbox – I couldn’t get past that bit either. Technology, eh?

Couldn’t get past that bit either but you did look great in the quick shot/introduction of you. You certainly didn’t look knackered/pale etc.

Happy birthday to Anna!
This day last year I was completely overcooked pregnancy wise and finding it very, very tough and the fact you had your little girl, safe and sound was one of the things that got me though that last day of carrying her and she was born, also safe & sound, the very next morning.
