Fiona McPhillips is a freelance journalist and academic researcher. Having given birth to her son in 2003, she then faced three rounds of Clomid, three IUIs, two IVFs and suffered six miscarriages before giving birth to her daughter in 2008. She went on to have another son in 2009.

Hi Fiona,
Just a quick note to let you know my son arrived Feb. 27th at 38 weeks. 6lbs 3oz, 19″ long. We named him Rian (Gaelic for Little King) I thought it was appropriate. We are thrilled beyond belief and can hardly believe we have him. It has been a long journey but truly worth the wait.
