I’m so sorry you’ve had such a long road with no success. I understand the need to try to come to terms with it, I always had that in the back of my mind. Not sure how I could do it though.

You were great on gerry btw! I wanted to ring all my friends and family to tell them to turn it on. People try to understand but they don’t realise how infertility changes you on almost a cellular level and impacts everything you are. Yeah we are still trying, (and it’s trying!) but trying in parallel, to come to terms with life as a childless couple. I have been so lucky in my life in so many ways but this has been a total heartbreaker and has tested me and changed me in ways I never anticipated. Tried to get your book in Easons in Dundrum today but it wasn’t there – will get it in town tomorrow.
Seriously, thanks for your honesty – it does make it a little easier for all of us.

Man I feel hard done by that I am missing all the buzz in Dublin. Here I am sitting in the armpit of Ohio, wasting my time listening to the false media reports on the PA votes and Iraq war. Congrats on ALL the media exposure. You are famous now! It’s BRILLIANT!!!

I have followed your story for the last couple of years and I am so so proud of you and I don’t even know you! I sent my husband down to Hughes & Hughes in Dun Laoghaire today to get me my copy. It’s not in yet but they have ordered it for me. Hooray! Can’t wait to read it.

I feel quite hard done by not being at home at the moment to get to hear and read all of this media exposure.
My wife has flown in and is about to fly back out of Dublin in about an hour and has regretfully informed the the bookstore there doesn’t have the book yet. Boo on them.

I hope to catch up on recordings of the interviews.

Just saw the article In I Times yesterday and spent almost all today so far reading your blog. I’m delighted for you and after ten years of trying, a late loss, DOR diagnosis etc. I have felt nearly every emotion you’ve expressed so well. Very best of luck with the new babby and I’ll listen in to Gerry tomorrow. Well done on being our advocate and for what it’s worth I almost puked last week in the hairdressers’ when I read that JLo article. I
