Book launch
Just to remind you all, my book is being launched TONIGHT!!!!! I got a copy of it yesterday and am pretty happy with it. I thought I might be afraid to open it in case all I’d see would be things I wanted to change but it went through a fairly rigorous proofreading process and we seem to have caught most things. So I actually enjoyed reading my own book! All the feedback I’ve had so far has been good and I’ve also had my first review – so far, so good.
So, maybe see you later!?!

Hi, here via Twenty.
It’s a terrific idea to have a book about this from the Irish perspective and within the Irish health system. For many people this is an important topic and this book might help them a good deal.
Well done and good luck tonight!

Congratulations, Fiona. That’s a wonderful accomplishment. I wouldn’t go if I didn’t live on another continent. =)

I WOULD go is what I meant. What an unfortunate typo, I’m so sorry.

Hi Fiona, also here via twenty major, and I’ve been clicking around for bloody ages now.
I kind of really want to swear in trying to describe how great I think this site is.
You’ll have a couple of readers of you book as soon as we can get our hands on it here in Holland and I get the feeling I’ll be trawling through your archives for help, guidance, reassurance, you name in it, in the coming weeks and months ourselves. We’ll need it.
Congratulations to date, and the very best of luck for the coming weeks and further ahead!

Feebee, hope tonight was great, wish I could be on Irish turf to meet ye. I could not think of having better company than Baby A on a night like tonight.
I am sure she is very proud indeed.

Fiona,
Genuinely lovely to meet you at the launch. Thank you for your kind welcome of just some random blogger (via Mulley) who wanted to support you and wish you well. I was so impressed at the amazing reaction from supporters and people you helped last night that I will definitely be recommending your site to everyone. I hope you enjoyed the launch and best of luck with the book!

Xbox – thanks for stopping by and sorry to hear you’re going through all this crap too. Love your blog – great to get a male perspective on all the nonsense we get up to. And very best of luck with it all!
