Baby A is alive and well.  She is still a girl.  If she turns out to be a boy, I will just pretend she is a girl as I am looking forward to dressing her/him in pink, flowery summer clothes.  Sure it will just toughen him up, along with the name “A”, which is not very masculine.

Baby A is almost 5lbs and is now head down, after being breech for the last six weeks.  I had discussed the possibility of a section (if still breech) and an induction (if not) with my obs but, as everything looks good, I think I will just wait and see what happens.  Maybe we will get that “Honey, I think it’s time!” moment after all.

Once again, I am looking forward to giving birth.  I had a horrible induction on DS but I survived and, because I’m convinced things couldn’t possibly be as bad again, I am relaxed and excited.  And I know that, as soon as that first pain begins, I will be less than two days away from the day we have been waiting for for over three years.

Such an exciting time. And so many gorgeous little dresses ahead. I hope you get your “honey, I think it’s time!” and everything goes smoothly for you.

      Wow, that’s great news altogether.

Funnily, I had a dream last night that my girl turned out to be a boy. I was so baffled by it all in my dream I remember being unable to come up boys name so deciding to just name him ‘baby boy’. Better start thinking of some good boy names, just in case.

Oh it’s a girl, someone would have seen a willy by now.
Bet you have a perfect delivery.

Johnny Cash’s “A Boy named Sue” is going through my head now ;) A colleague of mine was told that they were having a girl, named her Emily, “Emily” turned out to be Eoin!

Not long now, you could easily get your “honey it’s time moment” yet! So excited for you!

I’ve heard so many stories of boys that turned out to be girls and vice versa but I’m pretty sure A is a girl – have seen the bits several times now. And our sonographer has said she is 100% sure it is a girl. At this stage I’ll be happy with a pulse, willy or no willy!
