Feebee – CD14

No signs of O whatsoever – no EWCM, no cramps and barely a shadow on OPKs. I need to be 6/7 DPO for blood tests when I see my gynae next Thurs, so hoping it will show up soon.

Feel a little like I’m teetering on the edge of the infertility abyss at the moment. Suppose it’s a combination of bday, looming gynae appt and way too much Internet research! Will probably be back to normal in a day or 2 (or if I manage to get a sneaky BD in when O arrives!).

  1. Those cycles can be strange…just got my + OPK yesterday, thought it would never happen. You know sensitivity really varies from brand to brand…read a bit on that too-MANY don’t detect the proper levels of LH because levels vary so much from women to women & even cycle to cycle. I use Clearblue or Clearplan Easy digital-too expensive at 40$US but really accurate and shows a smiley face if + or an open circle if less LH is present. I have used some OPKs that NEVER test + and some that always do.
I had faint lines until 1 day before I tested +.

That research will kill you! Just try researching over 40 stats! Good thing I had a baby at 40 (just under 41) or I would have given up. I think your gynae appt should help-I suspect with one young child and a recent pregnancy infertility is not an issue-perhaps a little help is needed but I have great hopes for you.
    have a great,relaxing weekend,

  2. Lisa – looks like our cycles are fairly in sync again. I’m not holding out much hope for me this month, but you go girl!

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but Internet research is just depressing, no matter how much you rationalise it. No more!!!

I’m hoping I can just go to the gynae and say “Give me some drugs” and that will be the end of it.

Best of luck with your 2ww.

  3. Spot on with this write-up, I actually believe this web site needs much more attention. I’ll probably be returning to read more, thanks for the information!
